Events 3 half-day course Grant Writing in Ophthalmology

12 June 2026 to 11 September 2026

Scientific research advances ophthalmology and ultimately benefits patients! However, securing funding for research is becoming an increasingly difficult challenge. Writing a successful grant application requires training, and above all, practice. So be sure to get trained and inspired by experts in the field!

The course “Securing Funding for Ophthalmology Research – From Idea to Award” will be held on three Friday afternoons.
The course is partly funded by the Netherlands Ophthalmological Society (NOG). Accreditation is being requested.

The target group consists of PhD candidates nearing the end of their doctoral research, postdoctoral researchers, and junior PIs. However, others interested are also welcome to join. The course will be in English.

Course dates: Friday June 12, 13-17h; Friday July 3, 13-17h; Friday September 11 13-17h. Participation in all three sessions is mandatory.

Location: Domus Medica building, Utrecht

Costs: 150 euro for 3 afternoons
